The guy was celebrating a goal. Relax, anyone who has played sports knows when you in this case score a massive goal you celebrate and are relieved that your team scored. It wasn’t anything more than a player letting his pent up energies go knowing that they had won the game. Overtime is extremely trying and stressful whatever the sport.
As a goalie, I would have jumped up and popped him in the face with my blocker. Oh wait, I remember doing that to a big mouth player once!

Gudas and Bennet are like smeared dog shit on the bottom of a shoe, it's smelly, classless, pathetic, cowardly and dirty but at the end of the day if you refuse to wipe it off ie knock their fucking teeth out then that smeared dog shit can be very effective at ruining your day, when it becomes clear the refs and the league aren't calling even the dirtiest of shit like punching a guy while your buddy holds him down than it's time to wade into the gutter and start smearing some shit of your own, the consequences for deliberate attempts to injure using your stick as a weapon are a one game suspension so the Leafs had zero excuse not the let the sticks fly, that being said the coach kept their only tough guy benched the entire series after watching his skill guys get bullied around like little bitches so a lot of it is on him. Either way I would much rather a game be decided on pure determination and skill rather than blatant missed calls like a puck in the fucking net that somehow is not a goal or clearly interfering and holding a guys stick on the gwg but unfortunately about 60 percent of games these days end because some bullshit call from the refs or league and that's just far too much for a league that claims to be professional.
