J’écoute le dernier podcast de 32 pensées et ils parlaient de la façon dont Lindy était sur la dernière année de son contrat et qu’ils ont un homme qui attend sur les ailes pour le poste d’entraîneur. S’il y a deux parties, y a-t-il une place pour Lindy dans l’organisation ? Je ne veux certainement pas quitter Coach ou GM. Peut-être une AGA apprenant d’Adams qui passera à la simple gestion des Pegulas dans les années à venir? Frappez-moi avec vos pensées!

I don’t see how he wouldn’t get another head coaching job after how good the Devils were this year
Love the dude but no. The organization is very different since his time here. We don’t need more cooks in the kitchen and I’m sure he isn’t done coaching either.
I will always love Lindy, but I think having him as an assistant would put unfair pressure on Granato. After every loss, you’d get a million callers from Cheektowaga who would call for Lindy to replace him.
Love Lindy Ruff but it’s time to move on
New Jersey fans would riot if they didn’t bring him back. Unless Lindy wants to retire or move to management, I don’t see any way he’s not with that organization next year in some capacity. He might want to move up in the organization, but there’s no way they let him walk or demote him.
You know, I’d pay extra to see Duffer try to manage an intermission report with Ruff, Ray, and Biron. Apart from that though, which I don’t think Lindy wants, I don’t see a real spot in the org for him.
Buffalo was a fool to ever let him go. They would be a fool to not do whatever they could to get him back. Lindy was never the problem.

I think there’s room for Lindy if he was willing to move into some sort of executive VP/hockey operations role.
There’s also plenty of room for him in the rafters. Once he retires from coaching, I hope to see him up there.
Right now? No. Kevyn Adams is doing just fine as GM and you don’t bring in a former coach with a long history with the team as an assistant coach unless you want to send a message to your current coach that you don’t have faith in them and that you are ready to replace them at a moment’s notice. I would guess that if he ever comes back to the Sabres it would likely be in a part time broadcasting role and that’s only if he decides to settle in the Buffalo area permanently after he leaves coaching (I think he still has a house here).
Do they have complimentary coaching styles?
I think we can find a spot for him in our bottom six
He’d be a good replacement for Granato. Don’t see why he wouldn’t get another year in NJ though.
