I showed up at Kilgour’s here in Toronto at 3:30 pm to get a table for this. What a night.
I landed in Vegas, got to my hotel and rushed to the bar downstairs to catch the third period.
I was the only one who cared there.
I was inside the Bell Center. The house was PACKED for that summer-like day (it was really hot and humid if you stood outside).
Weise really got it going with the early goal. Pacioretty’s 2-0 goal was as timely as anyone could ask before the Bruins got one back before the end of the 2nd period. The third period was nervy with Carey making the saves and Boston missing their chances. And Brière scored off Chara on the man advantage, we knew we got them once and for all.
By the way, Serg 72 has posted [the whole RDS broadcast](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOb2dyjjpt4) of that game around over 3 years ago for nostalgia’s sake.
