For those not familiar with the Heidi Game…

There is reluctance to cut away from a game in progress. Sometimes a network will start a game on a sister network when possible. But in cases where there’s only one network to play with, I would prefer that they do side by side screens so both games can be seen until the first one ends. But that doesn’t usually happen.

Spoken like someone who hasn’t had the live game delayed because fucking NASCAR went over.

Do… do people not just watch sports online nowadays?

The baseball announcers were better and more entertaining than the hockey ones 🤣 I was thinking this too, by the way. By the time they put hockey on I got nervous that I had my times wrong or something due to the score.

I can’t stand ESPN I hope next contract goes to Apple,Amazon or some company that can grow hockey. MLS package with Apple has NO BLACKOUTS. Plus ESPN keeps putting down hockey when Stephen A Smith said HOCKEY DOESNT COUNT. Geez tells how you really feel ESPN?

I mean, I swear the ESPN crew was sucking off some Dallas executives….

ESPN thinks playoff hockey is less worthy than a lopsided baseball game with over a hundred games left in the regular season. What NHL business genius gave them the TV rights?
