If we draft Dvorsky or Reinbacher I’m gonna be pissed. If we want a chance at a cup in a few years we need to take shots on players with the highest ceilings. Based on what the front office said about picking Slafkovsky I think they understand that.
As for Reinbacher, we need another talented Center and this year is full of them, and we have enough defensive prospects.

To be honest, if they think Reinbacher’s ceiling is say, top1 D, ifs debatable wether or not he’s more useful than center.
Wether he’s really a top1 D or the other guy really is a top1 center is another story. But good dman can play half the game

Si on ne repêche pas un gars du top 5 c’est un flop monumental. On à la chance de soit repêcher un ailier générationnel / all star ou un probable futur centre numéro 1. Si Hughes est pas confiant de repêcher le gars du top 5 restant (Fantilli, Carlsson, Michkov, Smith) qui va glisser à notre position, faut tout faire pour s’avancer. On a beaucoup d’asset pour pouvoir le faire.
C’est ben beau les joueurs top 6 et les bon défenseurs, mais on a besoin de talent élite à l’attaque.

Yet again no one mentions Leonard who I really believe the Habs will pick if they don’t like the consensus top 5. That guy will help you win a cup.
