   Would be good to have him back as a 6th defenceman. Leadership, toughness and reliability on the back end.

   I think Schenn was our most adequate partner for Hughes, but I almost see him as a crutch. He is a great 3rd pairing guy that didn’t hold Quinn back too much, but ideally it would be cool to get a true first pairing blueliner (pls be Hronek).

   Needing guys like Schenn is more of a factor that we have overspent on OEL and Myers. If we truly want to improve the blueline we need to remove that salary logjam.

   Look at that smile he cracked at the start. Dodging and weaving, praising Toronto. Lol.

   Few years ago Schenn said he came to Van to play for Travis Green. And you just know Tocc is his kind of coach, too.

   He’s coming home.
