Wonder if ROR wants to come back on a 1 year and fill the Landy gap.

Not a free agent but Eliotte Friedman mentioned Nylander as potential fit (would take Landy’s cap hit). Don’t think it’s the worst idea, but I feel like two 3.5 mil players would be better and I don’t think we have the assets to pull it off

Hopefully they get Byram figured out and some type of 2C answer. The bottom 6 definitely needs an overhaul imo. I love the compete our current guys have, but we need to add some grit. More physical teams eat us up in the playoffs.

    Habs fan coming in peace,

If I was Sakic I think id make an offer to Domi, can be a good 2nd line player with grit, and Id probably offer a one year/2m deal to Drouin, he was so good with Mack in junior, maybe they could recreate something…

This is a good year to have that 7m from Landy. I love the Drouin idea. No way he’s getting any major offers and I think he could flourish in Colorado. I’m a bit bias being from Halifax, but word on the street was that Mackinnon was a major factor in getting Drouin to play in Halifax to say the least, and Drouin was actually considered better than Mack by a lot of people. Here’s a sample why:
