As a Seattle local. Over the past 20 years I have never been to a mariners game that wasn't packed. Even in our dark days of bottom dwelling you couldn't walk into a public space or store without seeing at least a couple Ms hats or shirts when they are in season.
Town of championships- Seahawks, sounders, storm, Seawolves- have all won fairly recently (recent in sports years lol).
Love the Mariners but even the Rockies had better attendance and they won 22 fewer games and didnt even sniff the playoffs.
I was at the game in seattle last night, unironically CPA was louder than Lumen Field for the seahawks. Absolutely outta our minds here.
