   A part of me wonders if it’ll be tied into the Winter Classic jerseys next season.

   My guess is Winter Classic will be the first tribute to the first American Stanley Cup champs.

   As a warmup? No. What a waste. They will do it either for the Winter Classic or some future alt or event.

   What is it with people and stripes? In my opinion, they are unattractive. It is also my suspicion that the boys find them to be unattractive, hence *why they ALWAYS lose in them.* You can’t go out and kick ass if you feel like you look silly.

   It’s the same for their fucking sick away whites. It’s part of why they’re so good on the road.

   But that’s just my opinion.

   I really hope they do it in conjuction with the canucks. A metropolitans vs millionaires would be sick!

   The problem I heard was that they don’t own the rights to use the name/jersey as a team. Some guy owns the rights for it and is holding out on selling it.

   They’ve been teasing the jerseys for two years. I don’t think they’ll be used as warmups. Winter Classic seems like the super obvious choice.
