While I believe Mitch Love is getting a lot of interest, this has to be to one of the more obvious posts of the year. And Kevin Weekes is not known for making great insights in the happenings of the NHL
I really hope the Flames get their shit together and name a GM and then hire Mitch Love as their head coach.
I’d say he’s probably a lock to become the Flames head coach. Just need a GM first and the Wranglers to win the Calder

We better not lose him to another team. That would be a huge blow to the organization as a whole considering we discovered and developed him.

Just a note, it doesn’t say that he is getting interest to be a head coach. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him move into an assistant coach position, potentially behind a head coach who is not on the most solid of footings.
Apparently the team had a problem with Ward with not like accepting his authority as a new coach. Steinberg said it might be an issue with Love, too.
