I'm a local fan from the Vanbiesbrouk, then Bure years. Can't claim to be a nhl/panthers expert as, I admit, I didnt do a good job as a fan keeping up over the years. But this team has a lot of us back! And when 2 teams go to 4 OTs?? That's a heavyweight championship fight in any sport, anyone's game! Respect to this great Carolina team. Ready for Game 2!!

I got wiped out just sitting in the stands for six hours of hockey. The players on both sides must be totally depleted. After the second OT ended, I kept telling my friend sitting next to me that the game would be won or lost on a mistake. And it was.
