Can you imagine the Toronto Coyotes winning the Stanley cup before the Leafs
TheAnimal89
I would’ve waited until after a new deal is agreed to before going full shithead but that’s just me
workthrowawaybro
They saw the job posting I guess
slabby
But, like, which field? The field of dreams?
steakkitty
A second Toronto team makes absolutely 0 sense
TheEvilTwin1
Funny how Milwaukee is more likely than QC. Just goes to show how completely unlikely it is they’ll ever have a team in the next few years
OldDrumGuy
Putting the Yotes in Houston is gold for in-state rivalry. Can you imagine ticket sales for an Aeros/Stars game?
Despite being all about basketball, SLC would take them in a heartbeat and you know them Mormons have their checkbooks open ready to make a deal. 😉
JonJonFTW
17.4% odds on a move to Toronto? Who’s betting on that? Just throw your money away why don’t you. I’d bet on every major city in Canada that doesn’t have a team before I’d bet for a second Toronto team.
dejvipasco
Wasn’t Salt Lake City mentioned too yesterday? Strickland tweeted about SLC. They’re not on this list.

The Wild, Wild West (well until they move to TOR? 🤣)

What about Portland?

He figures there is a 50/50 chance he has a job at the end of the summer so might as well get some laughs.
Kor_Morant
What field? Sheffield?? The UK’s getting an NHL Franchise???
Parkstyx
I have to imagine that Dallas is pushing for KC over Houston.
BionicBoBo
They’ll be in Salt Lake city by the start of next year.
matthews_land
If I was a player and had to go from Scottsdale to any of those cities, Besides Atlanta Houston and Toronto I’d be pissed.
rizen27
I wish there was a billionaire that could bring a team to Saskatchewan
CasperCann
Imagine if they go to Toronto, and actually win a cup lmao BUT to do so they defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs, if that wouldn’t be the most Toronto thing ever
WillyLongbarrel
No one is actually betting on this… right?
Q--Bone
Toronto needs a second team to be disappointed in?

Hamilton or Quebec plz. Why move away from a warm weather city just to go to another warm weather city?
Mean_Mister_Mustard
At this point, I’d have to think Quebec City is at least more likely than Toronto, if only because the one team that might object, the Canadiens, has stated time and again that they wouldn’t object to the Nordiques coming back.
(Of course, the Habs are also probably aware that the Nordiques’ return is also very popular among the fans that would remain Habs fans after the Nordiques’ return, and that the tiniest of objection would trigger an unhinged barrage of angry columns and commentaries coming from Le Journal de Montréal, TVA, and the rest or Quebecor’s media empire.)

I hope they go to Atlanta. Complete the swap with Winnipeg.
TheImageworks
Salt Lake City isn’t really as much of a gambling town, yet I still think that’s where they’ll go.

Jesus christ people will bet on ANYTHING
somewhat_random
Let’s try Atlanta again! I’m sure it will work the third time.
PsychoWarper
How the fuck is Toronto higher then Quebec City?
KnightOFJiggz
I’ll be not too surprised if they choose Kansas City or Houston, they be stable with their teams unlike someone from Canada COUGH COUGH Nordiques COUGH COUGH.

I do not expect it to be a city in the East.
