  1. the Stanley Cup is the hardest championship to win in all pro sports. prove me wrong.

  2. The biggest disappointment is Jack Micheals not calling the playoff games

  3. Cup or bust, that’s what Taylor Hall said and Boston had a perfect season, it’s going to be tough.

  4. The Oilers Season was an absolutely resounding success. The Regular Season was perfect it had the Oilers primed and ready for the Playoffs which is the general idea. They won Round 1 and they showed well in Round 2…..that is a very sound showing for everyone concerned….we must understand that the expectations end when the Team makes the Playoffs and then the Dreams begin….Regular Season and Playoffs are different. Because i dearly want to see a Stanley Cup next season I will be responsible and add that clearly based on 2 years of evidence the Oilers are lacking Playoff results parallel to the quality of the Teams they bring in….they are leaving to much on the Table…and they need one more ingredient from a analyst perspective because the current NHL is a very very technical one where Opponents read and react ultra-quickly and they do it by having multiple assets working for and with the traditional Coaches….I do not mean statistical support they already have that everybody in the league does what I mean is a Consultant who can help provide a realtime tactical perspective like Paul Coffey does by simply being an available resource for Coaches and Players to use if and when they feel they need support. Even the most experienced NHL Coaches today have these types of supports as unconventional as they may seem. The future will remain bright in Edmonton for the next 8+ years if Connor and Leon stay they could rule the League for the next decade.I think they can pull in 3+ Stanley Cups in that time. Its Cup or Bust like the Good Captain says so everybody has to step up or step back now. Go Oilers!!!!
