   I think we stand a good chance of retaining him. I think he is worth offering a $1.25 million one way contract for 2 years. That is likely more than he would earn elsewhere, one way encourages the Flames to play him, if he sticks in the NHL he will be worth more than $1.25 million, and if he fails at the NHL level his contract can be buried in the minors.
