  1. Congratulations to Rick Nash on a terrific NHL career. His jersey retirement is definitely well-deserved. He was a terrific player for when he played for us (Rangers).
On behalf of all of us hockey fans especially, including myself…

    Thank You ☺️❤️🏒🇨🇦🇺🇲

  2. These tributes never get any easier. Almost makes you want to tear up. Congrats on an amazing career Rick and even as a Blues fan its amazing to see what you did for the hockey community

  3. Where does the time go? Definitely does not feel like it was 20 years ago that he was drafted! Congrats on a great career and lasting impact on growing the game of hockey Rick! You get to leave the game with many memories and now purely enjoy your young family

  4. Could’ve had couple cups had he shown up in the playoffs with the rangers lol

  5. Columbus fans, congrats. You scored huge with Nash. My team in Nashville had the same problem as you guys did, we didn’t exist on the hockey map, and Pekka put us in the map. And for you guys, Nash put you on the map. Congratulations on your first official number retirement. (Maybe 2nd, did they office retire the goalies number? The one who passed on?)

  6. I've never noticed this…but isn't it odd that the "N" is not capitalized on his jersey?

  7. Отличный игрок, но первое что мне вспоминается когда ты слышишь его имя это то как он выкинул шайбу в овертайме за пределы площадки в финале чемпионата мира 2008, и русские в большинстве забили и завоевали золото впервые за 15 лет.

  8. My favorite player. The man who I idolized as a kid. It tore me apart when he was traded. I’m so glad he came home to work for us. And he totally deserves this achievement.

  9. They said it was the riskiest decision a hockey player ever made. To win a cup, though, you have to put it all on the line. I decided to purposely not score in the first two series just to throw off the teams in the finals. I had been a star name but, after purposely not scoring goals, people forgot about me. It was understandable- with superstars like Brad Richards and Brian Boyle, the Rangers were obviously talented enough to overcome teams from the butthole known as Pennsylvania.

I unleashed my fury against the Montreal Canadiens, scoring 4 goals in a four game sweep. I then put the team on my back in the finals, scoring 3 power play goals in the first game. Sadly, the excitement of a power play hat trick killed legendary announcer, Sam Rosen, who screamed until his heart exploded inside his chest. We ended up beating Anaheim in 5 games.

It wouldn't have been possible… the goals, the Cup win, the bitches… if I hadn't become the Secret Weapon by not scoring in those first two series. That decision made my career.

  10. I always liked Rich Nash, a more skilled Eric Lindros type forward in my book. Its funny how his jersey gets raised to the banners or lack of banners in Columbus against the last team he played for the Boston Bruins. Much love for Nash. He'll go down as a great player who never won a Cup unfortunately. Cheers.

  11. I’m a huge Rangers fan. This guy gave everything he had when he was traded to NY. I’m very happy This organization is honoring him. 61 forever.
