  1. It sounds like you're talking with something in your mouth, like a little marble or something

  2. It's funny you should mention that, as this unique shot caught my attention as well during the last Kraken game . And for some reason, something in the way he shoots reminds me of Connor Bédard, in the sense that they're both so focused in their follow through. It's what one might label as "sniper vision".

  3. I agree with that lean of his👌 The Kraken’s momentum is fierce tho, right?! 🏆2023👏🏻

  4. Yes he is undrafted really cool fact about him is that he is undrafted see he did not go in the years he was draft eligible I think it’s cool that he is undrafted can you believe he is undrafted I bet you didn’t know tjis but his undrafted another really cool fact is he did go undrafted did you know this man was undrafted I couldn’t even imagine being undrafted but finally to end this comment I just want to say did you know that tye kartye was undrafted I know crazy undrafted hope you have a great day tye never had the best day of his life at the draft because he was undrafted

  5. The story of the 2022 Seattle Kraken is getting the EXACT right players at the EXACT right time.

They picked up Martin Jones, Oliver Bjorkstrand, Andre Burakovsky, and Matty Beniers to get them to this spot. Oh and they picked up off of waivers Eeli Tolvanen who they really needed down the stretch, and now this Tye Kartye kid has just popped up out of nowhere at the most crucial time.

  6. Yea people lean like this to shoot but usually it’s off of their inside foot, it’s kinda awkward for most people to shoot like this off of their outside foot but it works for him.

  7. I know what you mean about these guys being undrafted. Everett Silvertips' captain Jackson Berezowski just aged out, broke the franchise all time point record, hat trick in his last ever game, worked with the Canes in their training camp and got some looks, but he's undrafted. Talked to one of their reps about that and it's because he's undersized. Lot of fortune cookie wisdom in every sport.

  8. He's also the AHL ROTY (that's not exactly what they call it, but still).

  9. Great video this kid, Matty beniers and Shane wright are the future. Kraken are going to be looking scary, so proud of the team and hopefully we can win tonight and get Burakovsky back.

  10. I saw someone try something similar playing street hockey, with floor hockey sticks back in the 90s. But the plastic sticks would warp so badly you only got three or four shots before the stick looked like a crescent moon and were unusable. With out wooden sticks of the day this was impossible. So it was never more than a joke that yielded zero results. The shots were weak, and sticks got trashed.

It is like the stupid hooks on the toe of sticks, we did that crap in street hockey in the 80s/90s with the old nylon/plastic replacement blades. Not on the ice and not with real pucks. Now that crap is used in real games.

But when I played hockey, I played with basically flat lumber, lol, you couldn't get your fingers under the "curve" my blade had… old man said if I couldn't shoot as well backhanded as I did on the forehand I wasn't allowed to play. I was a defensive goon, shooting was the least of my concerns. But I had a nasty snap shot because of it, and a wicked backhand. Where it really impacted my game was passing and getting really good at puck control.

  11. If you are talking about undrafted players, I don't think anyone will ever top Marty St Louis.
