As a Ducks fan it is Fantilli at 2nd though I could see the appeal of Carlsson or even Michkov. You just can't argue against what Fantilli was able to accomplish.
One thing to point out, and I don't know if you are aware or not, but, three Ducks defensive prospects just won defensmen of the year awards in three different leagues – Ontario Hockey League defenseman of the year. Mintyukov had 24 goals and OHL-leading 88 points in 69 games with Saginaw and Ottawa. Tristan Luneau has already earned the QMJHL's top defenseman honors. Tyson Hinds was named the Q's top defensive d-man. Olen Zellweger, the WHL's best d-man last season, had career highs of 32 goals and 80 points and won top honors again this year in the WHL. For forwards, Sasha Pastujov just put up 98 points in 60 games (57A + 41G) in the OHL and had 19 points in 16 games in the OHL playoffs (13A + 6G).
