It's definitely intriguing. If you have an opportunity to grab a generational talent, you have to seriously look at that. Some added benefits would be losing Miller's contract. I'd hate to lose Miller, but I suspect that contract won't age well. Another benefit is Bedard could revive Boeser's career. It seems like Boeser has been playing through a funk in the last few seasons…he's not progressing the way some have projected. Bedard setting Boeser up with some sweet corn-fed passes should bump up his goals. Hate to give up all those first rounders but if the Canucks continue to progress, those will probably be middling to low first rounders….and I'd hate to give up Hoglander and Raty. I've been impressed with Hoglander's play in the Abby Canucks playoffs. I guess in a long winded way, I'm saying I would make this trade. Thanks for posting, Trev!

hawks trade #19, ottawa's 2nd rd. pick, and will eat either c.garland or b.boeser's contract (vancouver's choice) in exchange for pick #11.
The fact that people are thinking the Blackhawks even consider trading the 1st overall pick is a joke. If Kyle Davidson was called and asked for the 1st overall pick GM Kyle Davidson instantly hangs the phone up this stuff wouldn't ever happen.
If the Hawks didn't have 2 1st rounders this year and for the next 2 drafts, this could be a potential trade situation. but with the sheer number of picks that Chicago is making in the first and second rounds for the next 3 drafts, there is no way I would pull the trigger on this if I am Davidson.

It's not happening. I don't think i would even give up Bedard for your whole top line along with all your 1st the next decade. He's already sold millions of tickets and he isn't with the team.

Dream On, Go Hawks, we build winners and cap space is POWER. For years the NHL cleaned up taking away Hawks because of cap space. No one cried that the Hawks were getting ripped off on trade after trade. So when the Hawks do a rebuild they cry a river and say they tanked. They had a 10 percent chance and WON deal with it.
