[Beaverton] Les fans des Leafs en ont assez de l’équipe actuelle « bonne mais pas assez bonne » qui va adorer le retour de l’ère « nous sommes nuls et notre front office est le chaos »

Do people actually love Dubas so much that they think the team will crumble to bottom feeder status without him? Do people actually think there is nobody else capable of running the Leafs?
I get it, Dubas was popular. He made some good trades and picks. Now we are entering a period of high emotions without a GM. Not ideal.
But my God, this team has a lot of talented pieces, and there is no reason this team should spiral out of control, no matter what changes are made. Dubas was not some magic wizard without whom we can never play well.

Just going to put this out there as a 30 year fan – I don’t really care about the difference between can’t win anything in the playoffs and can’t make the playoffs. I would like a Cup before I die. Anything short of seriously challenging for one – from bottom feeder to first round losers – all falls into the same bucket for me.

If the team stays good, are all you fucking psychos going to admit you were wrong?
Because if we do end up sucking, I will be the first to.

They need the right appointment and I don’t believe that they are going to make it unless if we get a guy like Doug Armstrong who was rumored then I think we will be ok but I feel like anyone else it will immediately feel like a step backwards for the franchise

Im sad to see Dubas go. He ultimately backed the wrong horses and put all his trust in these fucking losers who failed him again and again.

I thought Beaverton was supposed to be satire?
