as a Seattle native who grew up going to see loads of T-Birds games, I am nothing but proud of everyone on the ice and cant wait to see what we have in store for the bright future. its been awesome seeing the massive boom and resurgance the Playoffs brought to a lot of the restauranteer business on Lower Queen Anne around CPA.
I gotta say, I started this season as a hater.. But watching them in these playoffs has made me a fan. I didnt even realize it until I was bummed when Dallas won. I think theyll be just as dangerous, if not more so next year
I just wish they could pledge to change that mascot.

blues fan here. happy to see dunn do well but I wish we kept him over krug in that expansion draft. i always loved dunn’s game in STL along with schwartz’s. our defensive core has been underwhelming since the 2019 cup run. pains me to see petro and barbashev go on another run in vegas.

As a Knights fan. Did have fun cheering for the Kracken in there series against the Avs. Was pretty cool.

Hard to call this season anything but a success. The kraken showed that a team that plays as a complete unit of middle skill guys can be scary as hell.
What about Shane Wright?
I'd like to see Seattle go after a potential star but currently backup goalie along the lines of Swayman or Gustavsson. They could really pick up a superstar in net from these other teams who could use more money elsewhere.
Seattle Kraken would be in Peril if Blake The Mistake was GM. Ron Francis seems to get reality you can't have scrubs like 5'10 Mediocre Mikey on Defense which got them into Second Round already with 100 Points. Best Second Year Expansion Team NHL has had. Wright seems another Canadian Flop like Byfield or Jones or Nurse haha. Matty B hopefully can become that 30 or 40 goal scoring player. I think they are a Number 1 D away from taking next step as Grub wont get done in Net. McCann getting 40 Goals is like the REverse Wild Bill for Knights getting over 40 too :). I'm not high on any of their Defense prospects. Hopefully they can Retain Soucy as Dunn mostly useful for PP. Schultz or Larsson with Bolger. Oleksiak and Megna. Their Special Teams was an issue with PK giving up too many PPGs or PP giving up SHGs. Another Center or upgrade even a Bjugstad could help get to WCF. I picked them to Finish Top 4 in Pacific while most didn't think would make Playoffs so ;). Donato would be cool to keep. I'd like to get rid of Gourde too much money for a 5 foot shrimp ;). The GAA is More Important than those stats. Yet The Hockey Guy shows why Canada will never win Cup as don't have a clue about Stats or his personal ignorance being too short to stand for cross bar. Without seeing the GAA its pointless to even list the stats. I find it funny Vancouver would Win President Trophy Twice but No Cup? I think twice in a row. Donskoi should change name to Bustfield as can't score goals either ;).

From that abysmal first season to quarterfinals? Massive improvement that many clubs (who spend astronomically) should take note of.

no lets face it the kraken surprised alot of teams. Next year there will be no surprises. I say they dont make the playoffs next ear and its a bit of a rut i nthe road. I think they can build a good team but it takes years not a few months to make changes that stick. They surprised but the surprises are done.

This team is poised to continue to get better. While they may not hit the levels they did this year next year they do have some flexibility with their cap and contracts. Don’t forget they also have Shane Wright probably being more prominent next season as well.

As much as I hate what they did to my Avs, they really showed they have depth and grit to play in the playoffs.

I think Donato is gone. He's up for arbitration and with Kartye, Tolvanen, Wright, Kole Lind, etc there won't be space. Sprong also may be gone.
