Les Pete iront à la coupe commémorative et l’espoir des Rangers Othmann les a aidés à y mener en battant les London Knights 4 matchs contre 2. Othmann a été tout à fait le joueur de ces séries éliminatoires, que ce soit sa présence physique ou ses capacités offensives. J’ai hâte qu’il arrive bientôt dans la cour des grands. Je pense qu’il sera tout à fait le joueur pour nous en fonction de son jeu.

They beat out the top two teams in the league both coming from their conference and the second place team from the opposite conference. Quite the impressive run.
That was fun to watch. I’ve tried to watch as many Firebirds/Pete’s games as I could this year. I’m really looking forward to seeing how Othmann does in the NHL. I’m not really an expert on knowing if a young player has what it takes to make it in the NHL, but sort of think he could use a year in the AHL. He’s clearly one of the best players on the ice, but he doesn’t seem to be on the level as players that go straight from the CHL > NHL.

What was with the offsetting 2 minute minors at the end?
Othman’s head was in a headlock for at least 30 seconds while London got all kinds of chances before Brennan fought back, and they were each given a deuce. Talk about bad officiating.
