Snuggs devrait dominer l’an prochain au Minnesota à sa deuxième saison, et Bolduc était l’un des meilleurs joueurs de la Q. Def doit mettre l’accent sur la défense à un moment donné du repêchage.

Defence take longer to develop than forwards. A D drafted now won’t be a real benefit for 3-4 years. Draft the best available player and trade for a D if you want an improvement now

I’m a proponent of drafting the best player available and trading from a potential excess of talent in one are to acquire talent needed in other areas. With that approach, I think you wind up with better players overall instead of reaching for a need and hoping that reach hits his ceiling.

My take is that if the blues have someone identified on D that is worthy of a top15 pick, they take him at 10 to secure the best defender in the draft. Most are speculating that almost all 0 will be taken all the way from 1-12ish. They then trade the other 2 picks for an immediate player who can help the big league squad on forwards. 2 years from now we revisit where we are at and if our long contracted defenders still aren’t playing well, blow the whole thing ups

Reinbacher would be really nice

Guys hear me out:
Coyotes get: 2023 first, Bolduc, Snuggerud
Blues get: Keller, Crouse
Blues have a window to win now, coyotes **may** be looking to unload and restock on prospects. It’s a lot potential to give up for the Blues but it’s a lot of talent we are getting for the rest of this decade. Thoughts?

Never draft for need.
