I have nothing to say about forwards other than I think Bjugstad will be back. but for defense and goal I think Campbell will have a strong comeback season. but what is the possibility that the oilers still trade for Erik Karlsson. I would love to see him come to Edmonton but I dont know if the oilers are still intrested.
Numbers are nasty. To make the team "better" we need proven players at a great value. While I know we also need to bring the up and comers in I'm not positive we bring in 3 this year. I can see one (Holloway) with others brought in for injuries. The other spots I can see more "proven" guys who get low salaries and can get performance bonus's. That pushes the budget problem down the road a year so if the Cap doesn't go up big this year it should next year. There are guys out there who could improve the team at a good price that are UFA's. Some may even end up as PTO's on a prove it situation during exhibition and there are those wonderful 2 way contracts. Don't get me wrong, I like your choices it's that the Oilers are "Win Now" and "Cup or Bust". Unless Philp, Hamblin, and Holloway are good out of the gate and just get bettter wouldn't you rather have someone cheap who is? Great vid as always. Take care all.
Hopefully Kostin & Bjugstad can be resigned. We'll see what a trade return will look like in case of a Yamamoto trade; maybe a bottom 6 player or a pick but it probably won't be much. Aside from targeting Connor Brown, hopefully Edmonton can bring in another big and tough power forward like Kane & Kostin (Radim Zohorna could work).
I could easily see letting Ryan go… he is 36 and there's not a lot of future there. I'd like to see Bjugstad come back if the price is halfway reasonable; useful player.
Bjudstad needs to be resigned for face offs and penalty kill. Janmark was great for the PK also. I really loved the foegle, mccloud and Ryan line so hopefully they can reunite
good ideas. key will be that RNH & Kane need to work on finishing. Yamo skates but has not been able to finish – & really do need a guy that can finish for Top6. also for Nurse to work on his mental game & Campbell/Skinner to be stronger. A key is GM must not overpay Bouchard – 6 good wks w Ekholm, but 2 yrs of mental lazy errors so a tough contract to set up? Foegele could also go to find $2.75m $$? Bjukstad has been very helpful

Would love to see Bjugstad back, but it's a numbers crunch.
Hey patrick, do you think jack campbell is gonna be the starter next season playing 50+ games?
Can’t disagree with you. Bjudstad would be a nice to keep but that depends on Holland .
Always controversial but…
Kane-Mcd-Hyman
RNH-Drai-Lavoie
Holloway-Bjugstad-Brown
Foegele-McLeod-Ryan
Lmk what u think… hope I don’t get yelled at 😭 😊

So far so good

KEEP KOSTIN
The team isn’t even that bad this year except Nurse, yamo and maybe Ceci. Keep bjugs, he was a contributor for sure.
i like the new forward lines- Bjugstad will be back.
The rest I agree-

I love Yamo but I think it’s best for the Oilers if he does leave during the offseason
I love the idea of Connor Brown coming in
I dont know much about Noah Philip but if you think that he’s a good 4th line option i’ll take your word for it
