  1. Quebec City should really get the team. They’ve been waiting such a long time. I also understand the NHL mainly cares about making new hockey fans but Quebec getting their team again would be great.

  2. They really like landfills in Arizona. No building sports arenas on our landfills!

  3. Just call the moving trucks! Move them to the money. Toronto could handle a second team and has the money for it too. Get rid of the east west thing. Fix the travel issues by playing two game series in each city. 2 in 3 nights. Or not and just keep doing all the things that are proven not to work and keep complaining lol.

  4. Gary is just flogging a dead horse, let it go. I would love to see a team in Quebec City. As a NHL fan I'm sick of what looks to be Gary's anti-Canadian sentiments.

  5. HOUSTON!

No division or conference realigning needed AT ALL. The 4th largest city in the US with a ready arena and a natural, built in rivalry with Dallas. Just get it done already. Rockets owner, Tilman Fertitta, has discussed it regularly and happens to be worth 7 billion+

  6. Move the team to Halifax . Quebec already has Montreal there is NOTHING on the east coast of Canada . A team in Halifax would do just fine . Everyone on the east coast has to drive 16 – 20 hours to Toronto if we want to see an N H L game . Halifax would be a perfect spot for Cape Bretoners and NFLD and N . B and P . E . I , I am sick and tired of every time there is talk about a new NHL team that the first place anyone says is put yet another team in the U . S . It is our cup our league and our sport . Saskatchawan does not even have a team but Arizona and Florida have teams it is disgusting . How about we take care of our own first for a change and then look at giving Quebec another team and Hamilton and once that is done the U . S can have as many teams as they want .

  7. Not a surprise…..The Coyotes organization has struggled MIGHTILY in Phoenix for many reasons.
Gary Bettman…..read the writing on the wall man!!!!
There are great cities where the NHL will thrive:
    Quebec City…..YES!!!!!
    Halifax
    Houston
    Regina/Saskatoon
    KC
    Lots of great options!!!!!

  8. This is not good. We, the fans, are asked to be patient as the team rebuilds and then they may move.

  9. Gary will be pleased to present the Kansas City Canyoneros. Kansas would make most sense geographically, shorter distances within division.

  10. Houston ! Houston already has an NHL ready arena. You could leave them the Coyotes or rename them the Oilers! Houston Oilers! Sing it!

  11. Too bad that the fans who invested themselves in the Coyotes will pay the price.Gary will have had plan b in place for just such an outcome,so I wouldn’t be surprised if the team is in a new location to start the 2024-25 season. The Coyotes still have 2 seasons remaining on there current lease,so they do have time to find another city to play in.

  12. Seriously, who didn't see this coming? I guess Bettman, the NHL and its infinite wisdom didn't. Arizona was never a hockey market and no matter how hard they tried, they have always failed. The few die hard fans might disagree, but the Yotes were a failure from day 1 and should've been relocated eons ago.

  13. To everyone who says that the Coyotes should move to Quebec City: IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! This would unbalance the two conferences.

  14. I was just listening to the 32 thoughts Podcast and they were talking about the options available to stay in Arizona–the Phoenix Suns owner is alleged to be talking to the Coyotes ownership about a possible alliance.

  15. Man, I feel for the fans of Arizona. It's tough when you're facing the prospect of losing a team. I know the team and the league are in a tough situation with the way things sit right now, but there's no bigger loss you'll feel as a fan than losing a franchise. That being said if they do move I hope it is to Quebec since they lost the Nordiques to Colorado in the mid 90s.

  16. Coyotes going back to Downtown Phoenix in Footprint Center the current Suns owner is a hockey fan and is going to make sure he does everything he can to have the arena to properly support ice hockey Yotes are here to stay in the dessert.
