Yep. Time to trade bats for starting pitching. Said this last week. Phillies starting pitching is horrible. Every game, the Phillies are down 1 to 5 runs in early innings. Too much pressure on offense to have to come from behind every game. We'll be sellers at trade deadline. Phillies ceiling is .500 this year without solid starting pitching.

I had my doubts signing turner. He will be 30 in June and he has a lot of speed which he relies on. It may be good in the short term but the long term it could be disastrous. I didn't expect him to be this bad already. Thank goodness it is still early although some people think the season is over already.

This is exactly why Dombrowski needed to focus on the pitching this past offseason, you need pitching. Astros did so, and it was clearly evident in the WS; Eventually things will turn around, but it’s going to take time. Yes it should not, but it will with this team.
