A regular cheat in the NHL, a drama queen and has been getting away with shit but now the fucker has to pay! First Stars got rid of asshole Minnesota team and now VGK are flooring Stars (a very capable team) but with dirty players like Benn but thankfully this would be an after thought very soon. Benn is known as an aggressive player and he gets heated. Even if Stone told him to f himself,a cross check to the head and neck area is bush league. Benn needs at least a two game suspension for his ignorance!
Totally unrelated to all of this and probably will be overlooked by everyone: unless he has an injury how do you not dress Luke Glendening? He's the better choice than Dellandrea or Kiviranta because he can win face offs which is crucial for puck control. When Benn went out, that VERY POOR decision, to me, was magnified 100 fold. 🤦♂️

Benn has always been a very up and down kind of player in the way he can be so on and off with his play and he's someone I felt many years ago shouldn't be wearing that C on his sweater. He's always had a very unemotional flat affect about him that I just never cared for ESPECIALLY from a Captain. This really solidifies my belief he should be stripped of that title. But WTF is the rest of the teams excuse for that ridiculously weak uninspired effort from the very start to the bitter and merciful end? What was Otters excuse for absolutely being a no show in a huge must win for this team? He was easily as bad as he's been in these playoffs and he's been bad way too much to begin with. I think the young man crumbled under the pressure of supposedly being this young super star goalie and just couldn't get his swagger back from last seasons playoffs. He's young and he's got a lot to work on and improve before he can be considered an elite net minder. Their weak blue line is no secret to anyone especially fans who follow this team regularly. Outside of Miro and a young but talented Harley it needs a major overhaul. Overall all things considered this team went further than I expected and so I'd still consider this season a success but there's some changes that need to be made for this team to reach it's true potential. Just sad and quite embarrassing for things to turn out like they did tonight……real shame especially with the way many fans reacted.

I’m a VGK fan, it was weird getting Pete the way we did, but man he is such a class act, I love the guy. I also like the Stars; I had Robertson, Hintz and Heiskanen in my fantasy team. It’s tough being down three in the playoffs but Pete really sticks up for his team especially when the media relentlessly badgers him for a negative comment, even with the wrong quote by the one reporter. Dallas is really lucky and fortunate to have Pete as a coach.

Just say it was a mistake. I lose respect for people who try and even things out by calling him a great leader. It’s obviously not something a good leader does, and while some of us get emotional and make bad decisions. Not all of us take it over the line like this.

Pete Deboer , you are a soft coach you couldn’t get it done in Vegas with all the weapons that we have here you always make excuses for your players when you know they’re in the wrong you are not a very good motivator you don’t get your team fired up. I am very glad they let you go in Vegas because we would not be where we are right now if you were still behind the bench.
