Well, I’m disappointed, but satisfied. As soon as Svechnikov went down, everyone gave up on us. Many thought we would loose to the Islanders, and most thought the Devils would crush us. Yet, we made it, and we kept it competitive every game. The fact that we almost sent it to OT without Slavin and mostly without Noesen I find to be very impressive, I honestly think we would have won had we held on for five more seconds. However, I will say the no-call for hooking on Chatty’s almost goal is ridiculous. He was 99% going to score, had he not been hooked, and we didn’t even get a PP out of it. I mean you can’t not call that when our whole season depends on it. But it’s kinda been bad luck for us all series with the refs and bad puck bounces. Anyway, GG Panthers, go win the cup so we can at least say we were swept by the Champions 😆 We’ll be back next year… #LetsGoCanes 🌀🚩⛈
I have absolutely no contempt for the Canes, even after they eliminated my Devils. I was actually hoping the best for them. These Panthers just look so damn good right now.
The Florida Panthers deserve this. This is the team that should’ve been good last year. And boy they look like the team that won the President’s Trophy last year.
This Florida team is on a roll. They were so close to not making the playoffs, and then so close to being knocked out in the first round. Now they feel like they'll find a way to win any game they play. A 4-0 sweep doesn't do justice as to how competitive this series was. At least the Canes can say they don't have to see Matthew Tkachuk again until next season. I can only imagine they're tired of him lol
A team from a city where hockey is not interested in the final, while in Canada there is unbridled passion and they have not been champions for 30 years. Worse still, in national sports, they do not have their own league and share it with a country where hockey is not so relevant and it is the fourth most important league and they have 25 teams and Canada only 7. Canada, former country.
