Ebs is our next Captain. In addition to being a logical choice based on proven leadership and veteran player status, *he has the vision.* Ebs is the one talking about turning Seattle into a hockey city. The other guys are on board, but Ebs is leading the way.

I love both Ebs and Yanni as leaders. I’m not sure the org is going to put the C on someone that isn’t signed long term which right now at least disqualifies Ebs. Typically orgs want the C to stay on someone for a while (and likely we don’t want to repeat the Gio situation). I suspect we’ll see them carry the 4 A’s next year again until someone like Matty is deemed ready.

Absolutely love the idea of Eberle getting that big ol fuck off C! He deserves it. There’s some really great leadership on our team and some great future leaders. Congrats to Ebs.

It’s terrible, NHL players play hardest seasons out of all sports most games get paid worst have next to no protections and a going awesome team like Kraken and people can’t be happy how far they got, how many extra games fans got to watch and bonuses made.
Disgusting when Team management and media and fans Complain. They did amazing along with all other teams that were lucky to go a long first round.
