  1. Great hit no problem there. Just hockey being played at the highest level. Heads-up Jaccob! hopefully he's OK

  2. Interesting, where were his teammates to show concern, or even help the trainer onto the ice?

  3. Crazy that the split second he put his head down to corral the puck, left himself vulnerable. Goes to show just how fast NHL is and the sacrifices players make to clear their end. Was a banger of a hit by Bennett and yeah Slavin should've listened to his goalie, but he was totally out of sorts.

  4. Good, hard hit, but even though the point of contact was the chest if you get hit with that much force your brain is going to rattle around inside your skull. A helmet only does so much to stop your skull from getting split open on impact – it won’t prevent brain injuries from getting rocked like that. Hope Slavin’s ok.

  5. For once Bennett is actually not really to blame for this one. Dirty ass player but this hit was clean. Maybe a charge if anything but that's a stretch

  6. Bennett is a predator. Every series he’s head hunting guys. He’s actually trying to hurt players and in doing so end their hockey careers. Bennett needs to be rocked with a head jarring hit, it’s long over do.

  7. His head slammed against the boards that's why he was so slow to get up.

  8. Wonder how many careers Bennett can destroy in one playoff year.

I am sûre Youtubers will say this is a perfectly clean hit … this is from the definition of charging … decide for yourself

skating a great distance for the purpose of delivering a check with excessive force. The onus is on the player delivering the check to avoid placing a vulnerable or defenseless opponent in danger of potential injury.

  9. Beautiful hit! But ouch for slavin! Head down for a second and boom. Helps if goalie or someone shouts a warning!

  10. Clean hit but sadly that is a one brain injury more. Hopefully he can enjoy his millions after retiring.

  11. Boarding – another missed call by the corrupt referees in this series

  12. I can’t believe they didn’t suspend Bennet for the playoffs after his antics against the Leafs; what a goon

  13. Penalty with 57 Seconds left in a Playoff game after the Refs lets stuff go all game Garbage Betman bush League Refs.

  14. Bennett will be targeted against Vegas. You teams are studying each other hard. Not a canes fan btw. Vegas knows how to shut down Tkachuk…. should be an interesting series. Hopefully 7

  15. Panthers fans classless well after the hit cheering when a player is obviously hurt.

  16. Sam bennett is a beast, especially for not being too big of a guy he plays like hes 6'5. Looking back i still cant believe this is the same guy i watched in Calgary years ago.

  17. how is that not charging
when i played i would be kicked out of the game for building up that much speed before hitting someone
but you slightly touch someone with your stick and thats a penalty even if they threw themselves to the ice
can anyone explain just what the rules are in the nhl

do the refs work for bet mgm

  18. Clean hit, but Bennet's been a dirtbag this postseason no doubt
