   Don’t screw this up Jarmo. We are a few years away from any potential windows to win. Bringing in a young kid that develops in that timeline makes much more sense.

   Not that Lindholm is bad, but would feel like a kick in the nuts after having gone through this past season

   No chance if he wanted to sign an extension here we would try to get him in free agency next year. We could trade the LA 1st rounder but the third pick is worth exponentially more than Lindholm by himself

   Just don’t see how Calgary giving up a year of Lindholm before he hits free agency is worth the 3OA, especially without Calgary even sending back their first in return.

   If Lindholm really wants to play in Columbus he can just not resign with Calgary. Trading away 3OA for a guy who’s 28 is super short sighted. IMO, the only way Jarmo is parting with that pick is if it’s for Elias Petterson.

   I genuinely believe at this point that AP is trying to just stir shit up with the fanbase to put pressure on Jarmo. The way he has tried to push that Babcock and Q are contenders for the HC position, the glee he was showing when writing about the team struggling last year, and now this BS that they would be thrilled to trade away 3rd OA for Lindholm when Jarmo literally said it would take a U25 1C that they could sign to an 8 year deal to move it. AP is a hack.

    There’s like 5 players in the entire league I’d be willing to trade 3OA for. I hope Jarmo feels the same way. Unless a ridiculously CBJ friendly deal falls in your lap, make the pick.

    I’d rather trade 3 for Elias Pettersson. Four years younger with tonnnns more upside.

    I’d offer 22 and 34 for Lindholm, if Calgary doesn’t take I’ll be happy with that too.
