Front office is just as soft as the players it seems.

How many articles can the media milk from this? Seems like every other day someone else has written an article related to Dubas’ firing

“I’m in mourning right now,” one person who worked in the front office with Dubas during his time with the Leafs said.

There’s a real sense of loss for staff members. Dubas was their leader and the one who hired many of them. Suddenly, he was gone a week after the season came to an end – and without, in their minds, a satisfactory explanation as to why.

“It doesn’t make any sense,” a Leafs front office member said of the way Dubas was let go. “That’s why it’s disappointing.”

This front office needs to be purged, holy shit this is embarrassing

Could someone please give me this article for free

So over this shit lmao. Let’s move on, excited to see what the GM can do and what new ideas he brings to the table.

That one quote. I’m paraphrasing but, “the organization seemed united in the first time in years this year”

Ummm. First time in 7 years? 7 years of almost no progress? Purge it all.

Great job, Shanahan. You utter fool.

  8. Brett__306

It’s part of business. Let’s move on already, my god!

Good, get uncomfortable. Time to disrupt happy complacency land with a jolt of discomfort.

People really, really don’t understand what we’re headed towards and it’s kind of sad. We’ve seen a dysfunctional Leafs organization before and I don’t think any of you were having a very good time.

Holy hyperbole. This isn’t a catastrophic event. It’s a pro sports team changing GMs.

You know a large part of the reason why people are sad that dubas is gone? It’s because they’re scared. There was a comfortable culture with no demonstrable accountability. If there was how do we keep doing the same things with the same people and then complain about the same results.

Good. Be worries, be scared be on your toes and get to work. The lot of em.

  13. sadrapsfan

I’m sad bout it as well but these quotes acting like MLSE straight up killed dubas lmao.

It didn’t work out, gotta move on. Hoping next gm is as good or better

Toronto media at its finest. This is getting so over done it’s laughable….

The person that said they’re “in mourning right now” needs to be hunted down and fired immediately. Baffling that we have staff so soft and unprofessional to be sharing their feelings to create media drama to the detriment of the organization. Embarrassment to the Toronto Maple Leafs, these people are.
