Nah. Never said that as a Canes fan. However I did say I want the next round, and that ended up meaning that we’d play Florida. I wasn’t going to say, we want to be out of the race.
I am very saddened, but I get it. I get why Florida is where they are, and it’s been impressive. Though I am still pissed at hell at Bennett at that hit on Slavo. Really hoping he’s okay.
Good to see southern hockey thriving, and the networks not knowing what to do with themselves.
Happy for those Floridians who have been waiting for this for a while.
But yeah just very profusely, and immensely heartbroken.

So everyone hates Vegas because of their success right from the jump? Cause I get it. I wouldn’t be terribly upset if they won. But like imagine being Florida, waiting 15+ years to get back and you lose to a 6 year old.

The day I woke up and found out Chicago had beaten Pittsburgh my first reaction was « FUCK ». I wanted the B’s to have no piece of that team. They won the President’s just the year before, Ekblad was healthy, they added Tkachuck and were peaking at just the right time.
