  1. I get what you're saying about the new GM DK. On one hand he has to have the personality to correct Sully. On the other hand he has to commit to built a roster that fits his system. To me that's crucial for short term success if Sully is nearly untouchable for FSG. Might be a thin line there.

  2. With my handle “NES Addict” it’s appropriate for me to call him Super Mario 😂

  3. The Penguins situation is a like a divorce where the parents are taking out their frustrations and anger with each other at the expense of the kids. Maybe if people explained it to Mario that way and used the "kids" part, he'd understand. In the end, Mario didn't HAVE to sell the team to anyone, so this ultimately falls on him, especially when you factor in the hiring of Hextall and Burke before abandoning ship which also falls on his shoulders, not FSG. I'll never have anything but respect and admiration for Mario, as if he never was a Penguin in the first place the team would probably have 0 Cups and more than likely would have moved over 20 years ago, but that doesn't make him any less responsible for where they are now, either.

  4. You did read the recent news by Tony Androckitis on Inside AHL Hockey about Sullivan being given much more control from ownership, right? This was retold on other news sites as well, so it's not NY Post level twitter garbage. I don't see how a new GM will enforce any will upon him. Whoever the next GM is, they will be a partner with Sullivan, and I'll assume easily that partnership won't include making on ice decisions.
