Oilers not able to outscore their mistakes, and suspect goaltending. This is why I wanted to resign Koskinen. Some really Crap Ref'ing but Oilers took themselves out with to many bad penalty's and to many D lapses (and amazing blunders from the usual suspect) along with to many weak goals. I Think it highly likely this team would have been in the finals easily this year, if they had a Koskinen, and an Adam Larson in the lineup. Next Year maybe.)

So many mistakes – by all the players and the coaches as well. Too many to name, but they really got sub-par goaltending and should have switched to Campbell much sooner. – perhaps even after the game he was pulled in the LA series.

Because down the stretch they were playing teams that were tanking. They play in a terrible conference and division and probably wouldn’t make the playoffs in the east. Vegas only good team in west and look what happened.

What an overpaid pylon.. making bone headed plays and taking dumb penalities is his specialty. Ekholm became an instant #1 D man which clearly shows that Nurse was very overrated.
Excuses, theories, observations and opinions. No one gives af anymore Darnell. The D needed to be better from the whole team. This goaltending doesn’t get many teams into the playoffs, other than a team PP 36% and most goals scored. When the intensity rises and that is striped away you barely have a .500 hockey team
Focus less on running your mouth and more on keeping the other team from burning you in your own end. When he was taunting the VGK I knew it would come back to bite him.
