there are two types of seats here. Really cushy ones right behind the players and smaller ones to the side. I wonder if the ones to the side are going to be used all over the building. There have been some blue seats they experimented with in the past, wonder if they plan to put those in for the rest of the seats.
These look hilariously out of place, like the team got a good deal on overstock seats from another arena. Absolute Frankenstein upgrade.
EDIT: I just realized the « regular » VIP seats (the ones to the left) are skinnier than the old seats, and the top row has less space between them… brutal. Looks like they could cram in one extra chair in each row if they went with this for the whole section.
Aqua: Hey guys! the fans will get to see you in the tunnels now and we make more money, isnt that coool?
Players: ^greaaaaat.
Personally Id be too self concious to be in these seats as a douchebag surrounded by douchebags 😅
Man, the people scanning their phones all game are going to be so comfortable in those seats.
Nice that Francesco can have a spot for all his friends to sit. I look forward to watching the black hole every home game broadcast.
this alienated a bunch of people and caused them to cancel.

Club/owner sections are not anything new, but they could have rolled this out in a way that did not alienate so many of their existing fans, especially as a good chunk of them have likely been sitting in broken seats for a few years now
Let’s refer to them as the « Stolen Seats »
You know how they kicked out long time season ticket holders for a money grab?
Fuck this org is embarrassing. Frankenstein Arena continues to limp on
These seats are perfect for Canucks fans who also happen to be contortionists. Flexibility is key, right?
Massive Reno. Really shooting for the stars on this one. Probably gonna need to start the season on a 13 game road trip to finish this project.
This organization can’t even get seating right. Looks awful!
There were 2 seats left in yesterday’s seat relocation (you can still see them with the badges in your picture). The premium seats will be mirrored in the other side of that new entrance they cut into the stairs. 60 seats total (30 either side).
The aisle seats are $85k each. All the seats include all Rogers Arena events (Nucks, concerts and lacrosse). It’s about 100-110 nights per year depending on playoffs 🫣. They include parking, food and non-alcoholic bevs, and a dedicated/direct entrance into the arena. The food area will be between the dressing rooms and supposedly have some windows into the player tunnels (don’t quote me on that last one as I the rep was explaining that last part to another season ticket holder and I missed what exactly the view was).
What a joke
Fans: « We want Blue/green seats so the stadium looks more inline with the team colours »
Team: « Best I can do is four rows of black seats right behind the bench so it looks awful on camera. »
Fans: « … »
Team: « Also you’ve been kicked out of your long-standing seats, we need those. »
frankie is a cheap fuck. hope he never sees a cup lifted as owner
Looks like Canucks fans will have to do some serious squishing to fit into those new seats #tightsqueeze
I hope all of the rats in that building crawl over the suits’ feet
Fans don’t really understand that they have to start somewhere with the seat replacement. It’s not like they can tear out all the seats in the arena and replace them in one go when there’s events held there regularly. It isn’t as simple as changing a light bulb.
