I have an old Sharks Irbe jersey I stole from my dad. On multiple occasions when I’ve been at Sharks games wearing the jersey I have had Latvians come up to me and take pics with me facing away from the camera so they get his name in the pic lmao.

I remember the awful, awful Canucks goalie graveyard days when Irbe joined up. He was actually decent. I remember being at a game where bloody Garth Snow was stinking up the joint and trying to start a « We want Irbe’ chant.
