Oh the good ol' days of Devils hockey. So close to becoming a dynasty.
It was awesome to see almost the whole gang back in town. Good on Lou showing up and for the crowd giving him the standard "Louuuuuu" "chant". Also, the whole Sykora thing was very classy. I was wondering why they hadn't called his name and then it made sense. He was always one of my favorite Devil. I loved how after they won Elias wore his jersey and then Robinson. It gave me goosebumps to see him with the cup and getting the lap and ovation he 100% deserved.
This public announcer needs to catch his breath. Jesus!! As a Rangers fan, this was a nice moment. 20 years is a long enough break for me to get the proper perspective. Much as they used to regularly flush our teams down the toilet, it was because they were simply that good and well managed and we were simply that bad and poorly managed.
