    As a leafs fan, they could be up 3-0 in the series with a 5-0 lead in the third of game 4 and I would still expect a first round exit.

    I started to cheer for Leafs and Bruins when they both had 3 wins. Aaaaaaand they both started to get violated. I blame nobody but myself.

    LOOK, you guys are always down on your team! It’s so easy to take zero responsibility for your roll in the Maple leafs and I am sick of hearing all the complaints about the whole staff and the players. Did it ever occur to you millions of begrudging fans (what’s that even about?), that your impact along with the media constantly bringing up 2004- blah-blah is like sitting on the opponents bench and piling more pressure on your team. The term ‘house money’ means playing with abandon, does it not? So we all understand you need to be relaxed to be able to play in the ‘zone’ and to play your best hockey! Imagine if since 2004 all the media and fans sent out this message, guys we are behind you, no matter what, just go out and play and do yourselves proud. We love Toronto and we love watching hockey. If the players are talking about monkeys on backs, TO SOME DEGREE-you put the monkey there. I can assure you the guys working on the mental side of the game with the players will have a much easier time helping the players not to care about what others think if what others are thinking and saying is all positive! Get off their backs, the lot of ya, and start getting behind the team, not because they win or lose but because you are a fan. All these guys are bloody awesome people, you see the way they respond to the media, so humble and respectful, I for one salute you in a world of groaning ‘a-holes’ they keep their dignity and desire to do their best, for it seems like, no thanks what so ever!
