He looks great . But two reasons I won’t be sad if he is scratched: 1. He’s just not use to playing with men yet. He a few times lost the puck attempting zone transitions he was able to pull off in WHL. He’ll learn to pick his spots. 2. Hershey is playing very physical and the refs are allowing it. Savoie is small and Cederqvist is big. Savoie has not looked weak out there, but Amerks might need a little size.
Being thrown into the conference finals on a new team is a tough spot. He’s had flashes the past couple games but with the way Hershey has been playing I think some size will help them.
Probably for the best, he looked lost in his own zone.
I didn’t think he looked bad last game. Wouldn’t be upset if we went with something different today though, even if bad calls did play a huge role in last matchup.
