How about we stop talking about SC stories from Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton until they actually accomplish something again. Listening to the same stories about Candian teams and the SC is getting really old and boring. How about Vegas making it to the SC finals twice in 6 years. I am neither a Vegas nor Panthers fan but damn, they play some hard and incredible hockey and they are fun to watch. I look forward watching the finals.

I’m very excited about this final even though I’m not a huge fan of either team. Not mentioned is the fact that Vegas has 14 Canadians in the regular lineup and Florida has 12! 26 Canadians dressed and playing! LET’S GO VEGAS WITH 14!

A little back history into VGK. Our first Real team rallied behind us after Oct,1. Then, went on to go into the Stanley Cup playoffs, that year. They were the beacon we needed. And, win or lose, We LOVE VGK!

I can stomach Vegas winning a cup a little more than Florida who was selling tickets as cheap as $15 days before the playoffs as the team was fighting to get in. Florida "fans" have been so God damn toxic these playoffs and were nowhere to be found leading up to this point. 🚮
I am a huuuuge Knights fan and my friend is a huuuuge Panthers fan! We are both looking forward to the CUP! I just hope that it is close and we at least get 6 games. Knights in 7 is my prediction

If you were to ask me at the beginning of the playoffs what my least desired SCF would be, it would have been this one. It has nothing to do with talent but rather detestable markets and fanbases.

As a die hard Panther, I’m so excited about this matchup and as much as I think it will be tight but I still think we will win the cup. And btw, I love my arena, I’m dove minute drive from it 😆
I guess what I don't like about Vegas or Seattle is they got to cherry pick talent from the beginning to already be on the upper tier of good in the league. 2 cup appearances in 5 years for Vegas and a deep West playoffs run for the Kraken on year 2. Sure, they played within the rules established for expansion teams but clearly we can see that it is heavily favored towards the new teams compared to the rest of the existing teams. There's no rebuilding grind, there's no cap struggles. As a fan of the league, I just find how expansion teams pick their roster to be imbalanced and this is the result we see. With that said, I'd like to see the Panthers win it all!
As a lightning fan i keep an eye on the two former bolts that the team was not able to keep due to salary cap and roster spot available : Marchessault vs Verhaeghe, love these two guys, best of luck for both.

Which ever teams fight their way to the finals, belong there. This is a great match-up with so many story lines.
Hyped to see this final. It should be insanely good! This Canadian is rooting for the Cats to finally get their cup after all these years. I'm not sure how common of a complaint it is that "well it's not a Canadian team so I don't care" but, if it helps, remember that both teams are stacked with insanely talented Canadians. Doesn't really matter where they are playing. If you enjoy hockey, you should enjoy this final.

Both of these franchises made it to the Stanley Cup Finals in their playoff debut (Florida in their third season but first playoff appearance in 1996, Vegas in their expansion season in 2018). Both teams lost in the finals, and then never again returned to the finals until now.
One of them is going to lose again.

Since the salary cap smaller teams like the panthers can now make the Stanley cup… they have the highest paid goalie and a top 5 highest paid left wing and center. And it’s showing, all 3 of them have been ELECTRIC in the playoffs and secured a trip to the cup
