I know it’ll be an unpopular opinion, but I think the sens should leave Sanderson with Hamonic, and chabot with Zub. Which means Chychrun with Branny or JBD as the 3rd pair.
Personally Mantipalo and Hamonic would be good. Kleven needs a bit more seasoning and branny needs to move on a team where he can get top 4 minutes which he deserves. and JBD I think we should move on from. Hamonic brings the veteran presence and is a solid 3rd pair player and Mantipalo has a rocket of a shot and is a solid and tough player and he also did pretty good for team Finland as well

Can’t see us qualifying Larsson with this logjam. Is he even interested in staying in Belleville? Shame, cuz I like him, and imo he’d be between Kleven and Heatherington in that depth chart.

Great time to be a Miami area sports fan. I got Panthers in 6. And I got Denver destroying Miami in 5.
Also worth noting: The Heat and the Panthers are BOTH wild card teams. And BOTH had 3-0 series leads in the conference finals.
I kinda like the idea of a harmonic/kleven shut down pair with the option to switch either one out for Branny whenever you want a bit more mobility/offense on that bottom pair
I like Hammy for that bottom pairing. His pk skills and willingness to block any shot any time are the kind of guys you need to win in the playoffs. Kind of along the same line, I don't think Watty signs with Ottawa but if he does sign a 1 year with a team, I'd bring him back at the trade deadline (as a 13th) just for the playoffs for the same reasons as Hammy. And Hammy truly loves it in Ottawa amd those are always great players to have around the room
I'm a hard no on trades for draft picks. I think we should keep Branny. I'm still on the fence with him. If we trade him in a package for a goalie then I'm good with that. We are in win now mode…..I'm not concerned with the prospect pool at all. Get some AHL vets into Belleville and get them winning instead of developing

Please ask GMPD tomorrow about the challenges of drafting after the pandemic season and what they plan to do with the likes of Ben Roger who was taken in the second round but was only offered an amateur tryout contract.
Also if the sens didnt trade Mark Stone we probably wouldn't have been able to draft sanderson (I assume we would have still been bad but not bad enough for the 5th overall pick (2nd worst in the nhl))
