And I want another shot at having hair. That ship has sailed.

  2. Neutral-President

    Another shot *at what,* exactly?

Does he even *know* why he’s there? Because I’m not sure he does.

  3. 1UP4UScoobydoo

Could still play a role but needs less ice time and better managed.

  4. Reggae4Triceratops

League min, press box, final offer.

  5. TheWomper

Unless he wants to play for the Marlies, there is no way the Leafs consider him for another season.

  6. specialk554

I’m not a Holl guy but if he signs for league min and we run him as a 7D, I’m fine with that.

  7. NewspaperEfficient61

Sure why not, Toronto likes doing the same crap over and over

  8. FonziesCousin

He should play for the Oilers or Flyers because this Pylon is orange.

  9. considerseabass

If he’s back, I will simply give up. Enough shoving this guy down our throat. Give that role to Lily, let him grow into it and shut up. Simple as that.

Justin, it’s not you, it’s me.

I don’t like the person I become when I watch a game and you are on the ice.

I’m sorry. I’m sure you’ll find someone who appreciates all the things you bring to the table, but that person isn’t me.

  11. icheerforvillains

Also, would you take Holl, age 31, at a 2 million cap hit or Schenn, age 33, at 1 million?

    I’d take Schenn.

  12. DannyDevitosAgent

Justin, buddy… I love you and all but it’s over man.. Unfortunately it’s time to go.

  13. shanster925

    Hey, me too! I’m 6’4″ and a right-hand shot.

    No further questions.

  14. Chambodian

Sure but that shot has to be from a canon and it aimed out of town.

  15. He would be fine as 6D the problem is Keefe would play him over Liljegren which is just insanity

  16. CJLanx

*rolls up in a motorized wheel chair*

    How bout no

  17. postmodern_lasagna

If we can’t get Schenn back for $2M or less, I wouldn’t mind Holl back as a 3RD for $2M or less.

    **Conditions**

    1. Probably can’t fit both Schenn and Holl on the team if Liljegren and Timmins are also going to play.

    2. Keefe would need to go. Otherwise Holl would be leaned on too much. He’s given us great games when his role was right.

    3. Please stop using him exclusively as a defensive D. He’s actually a decent puck mover and that’s why he’s played so well super randomly as a two way guy when paired with someone like Brodie or Benn.

just sign holl to a lifelong contract already,

that’d be the leafiest thing to do, and we all know the leafs will be leafy.

  19. Big_Albatross_3050

I know he’s a big RHD, but the Leafs have Lilli, Timmins, and Schenn if he extends. Plus Hirvonen and Niemla are gonna start pushing very soon and I don’t want the have Holl on a long term contract blocking their path onto the team due to being lower on the depth chart

  20. Ellicrom

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Holl played some solid hockey mid-season when half the team was injured, and probably could have continued to be a great contributor as 7D and occasional 3rd pairing. The problem is/was Keefe, who thinks Holl is Jesus on ice skates and relies on him way too much.

$2M AAV? Heck no. League min? Sure.

  21. Deep_Bit5618

I want to play for them as well.

  22. Deluxechin

I get it, who doesn’t want to play for the Leafs and there’s plenty of reports he’s a joy in the locker room, but Justin buddy, you only have a short period of time in the NHL, go get your contract, there’s going to be a team out there offering you a fuck ton of money, be greedy, this is the only time you really get to do so
