I miss Gary Thorne and Bill Clement (Philadelphia Flyers broadcaster) announcing NHL games. Love hearing Bob Cole of CBC announcing games, unmistakable voice.
Doug Brown was a great third line player, always got timely goals. It was nice of the Washington fans to give Konstantinov a standing ovation and players/coaches to shake his hand at the end of game 4 of the Cup Finals. Also miss Bud Lunch as the PA announcer for Detroit.
The Cup raising with Konstantinov at the end brings a tear to my eye.

Detroit in those days were what the Chicago Bulls were to the NBA and the Dallas Cowboys were to the NFL in the 90's. They were THE team of the NHL.
Steve picked up the Clarence Campbell Championship and won the Cup. It wasn’t the only time and he lost the first time.

97, 98 and 02, Won the Cup.
