When Brad acquired Huberdeau, one of the first things he did was fly out to Montreal to meet with him. Took him out for lunch and apparently left a good impression with his agent Alan Walsh, which is saying something given how outspoken of a representative he is.
Brad has had a great personal rapport with his players, and I think you’ll see more of it in the coming years.
