He must have agreed to just let the board make all the decisions. Shanahan gets a pass? I think we are going to have to suffer some more for that to be accepted.
Time to start Tre Leafing in Brad Treliving. Seems like Keefe is sticking around as HC as well because surprisingly Shanahan believes that Keefe is the man for the job and the GMs they were interviewing thought the same. I’m unsure as to whether Treliving can make this team better than it was this year or in years prior but I do think that this might be a good hire despite the circumstances but Treliving should be judged on what he does from here on out and not from his past in Calgary. If Treliving is allowed to do what he needs to do and not have ownership or anything get in his way, I can see this going well. If not, then we are definitely in trouble and will be headed to a rebuild in no time
And so ends the reign of interim GM Pridham.
Why are people so bummed about this? Dude actually did a good job in calgery considering how hard it is to get people to sign and stay in calgery. Think about it. Lets not forget Dubas made a boatload of mistakes himself…. Kadri was a disaster of a trade…. Choosing to keep holl over keeping Jared Mccan… and the malgin for marchment….. Most progression and modern day GM couldn’t get it done after an entire franchise overhaul by Leiweke. Most talented roster assembled in…maybe ever and couldn’t get it done.
