That’s annoying on many levels
A « so-so team »? I mean they had a tough start to the year but this is a very good Panthers team. A team that won the Presidents Trophy and then added Matthew Tkachuk

I can’t stand the Golden Knights because of Mark Stone. Great player and all but I still remember how much of a baby he was during our playoff series with them a few years back.

I’m glad to see we all seem to disagree with this hahahaha. I mean, I wanted that 16th pick and all, but once they beat Boston I wanted to see them beat the Leafs, and then F Carolina. So really, I’m strangely behind Florida in all this.
Only reason a Habs fan would cheer for Vegas is because we would pick one rank earlier in the draft with FLA 1st rounder.

I like the Vegas players (3 french canadians!) more than the Panthers players (fuck Gudas), but theres no way I can get behind Vegas winning a cup 6 years into the league.
Unlike many other hockey fans idgaf how long Vegas was in the league for. They’ve always been exciting to follow and would much rather have them win than a relatively boring panthers team

I grew up in mtl and moved to south Florida for the beginning of high school and now am a senior in college, so you can understand I’ve been conflicted with having their first round pick lol. But still happy to see this sub start appreciating my second favourite team

I just hate the golden knights and I can’t stand Marchessault and Pietrangelo for some reason. It’s just frustrating to see them near the top of the mountain year after year. Why them? A lot of great teams have trouble winning 2 consecutive rounds. How the f are they always in the god damn final 4?
Despite feeling we got duped by Florida, I’ll never cheer for Vegas, especially all the dirty shit they got away with during Montreals recent cup run

FYI, the Habs in ’93 had 11 OT games and won the last 10 of them. Florida and Bob have done really well, but is at least 5 OT games behind and there have been at least 5 other teams to get to 6. NO one has gone past 7 other than the Habs. The ’93 run is completely unrepeatable.
