Justin fuckin holl cost us the game!!! His shit up the glass play with 2 Canucks on the wall turnover caused the 1st goal. And as far as I'm concerned, the ramp up by the team being down 1 goal because of holl caused agression and ultimately a penalty, caused the second goal… justin holl single handedly cost us the game… personally, after the first goal, I would have benched holl for the rest of the game. And don't fuckin come at me cause he had like 2 good plays after. He needs to go man. Plain and simple!
Is it just me or has JT been badly underperforming for a while now? Seems slow and can’t make a play, falls a lot… he’s becoming a bit of a crappy player for 11 million and second line minutes.I think he’d be better off as more of a leadership role third of fourth liner perhaps

Here we go with the "ran into a hot goalie" excuse again. It's their favorite one. Ppl think it's shocking at even-strength, the Leafs generated 70 attempts, 40 shots, 31 scoring chances, 14 high-danger chances… and score zero goals. But that's the Leafs. Why didn't they close out the Habs series at 3-1, why didn't they beat Boston up 4-1 with the 10 minutes left in the 3rd, why couldn't they beat Zamboni driver, it's just what they do. Trade Matthews, Marner and a first rounder or another player for McDavid and Draisaitl because with the players on the Leafs they will lead them through the grind of the playoffs. Matthews and Marner are soft players that cannot flourish in the playoffs.

It's hard to maintain wins when Mrazek has .899% on the season and Campbell has been at .890% since December 1st. The Leafs offense has carried them wins through pretty suspect goaltending. Much of it is defensive problems, but the goaltending hasn't been good enough. The Leafs gave up very little against Vancouver.
They still insist on playing Tavares in the top lines. He’s a 3rd/4th line player now of days. He’s worn out and always makes mistakes. Constantly turns over the puck and falls on his ass, then he takes a penalty with 2 minutes left and 1 goal down. If he wasn’t falling and flailing as usual then he wouldn’t have high sticked the other player. His skill level has diminished after the first season with the leafs.

With all the money the Leafs have, you'd think they could afford to hire someone who knows even the basics of audio. You can never hear the reporters' questions. Other NHL teams have top notch YouTube channels, yet the Leafs refuse to hire a qualified person to edit their YouTube videos. I suspect it must be someone who got the job only because they know someone in the Leafs organization rather than hiring someone based on their qualifications.
Fans have been complaining about this for years and yet nothing is ever done about it. It's a tad frustrating, tbh.
Same old excuses! Never going to win in the playoffs, in my estimation! They win when the game is not too, physical or their competition goaltending is weak.

Vancouver is not even in a position to make the play-offs this year and our loss tonight is surprising. Why do we play to other team’s strategies? Shooting from the perimeter is hard to do and Vancouver was good at keeping the Leaf’s back last night. I thought Spezza’s goal was brilliant – what a rocket shot that was! Vacouver’s goalie did play good and their D knew they had to keep Toronto to the outside and they did. As discussed by Sheldon on this video, it was hard for the Leafs to win after the first two goals Vancouver got last night. It’s just the way it is and let’s move on to the next game . I know the Leaf’s will win the next one! Go blue 🙌🏻💙🙌🏻

Haha why is it so hard for management to not be able to see after all these years, they do not play with gritt. Hence why 47 shots, great O, but not causing traffic in front of the net equals yet more losses. Fine in the first half of the season but….cmon people, it's easy.
