Vegas' fan might not see another game at home before the cup is awarded.
Let me start off by stating, Vegas in 4. If you think of another outcome, go seek help. As a Florida fan, I have never seen a more undeserving run. Pittsburgh losing against Columbus and Chicago allowed them to sneak in. Six of the twelve wins were in overtime, and only three wins were by more than one goal.
Now I have analyzed more film trying to wonder how the Panthers got this far, I am coming to an agreement with the notion that Ullmark has dealing with an injury. By playing in Game 1 sick, he was more fatigued in Game 2, hence his sloppy play. His non-sickness related injury must have came during Game 4. The goals he let in in Games 5-6 would have been saved in the regular season in a heartbeat. A lucky shot went in on Swayman to tie Game 7 up, which healthy Ullmark would have snatched.
Just in case you didn’t realize, Samsonov was DOMINATING the Panthers in Game 3 with a 1.27 GSAX until he was injured by his own player, and Woll let in three goals that Samsonov would’ve easily saved due to his sudden apperance. Game 5 was all Bobrovksy and suspect officiating.
May I remind you the Canes were missing their top scorer and had many coming back from injury. All the wins were by one goal, and each game was an utter domination by the Canes. Now we are here with the glaring issues with the Panthers PK, defense, and untimely offense. Nothing will be done in the off-season that should have happened with the Panthers being in the cup.
Don’t be surprised when they miss the playoffs next year. Now I hope Huberdeau takes the Flames to a cup next year just to piss of my arrogant fanbase who somehow conjures up the idea of one year setting a standard. You can come at me with all your despair, but I will just sit back and reaffirm my sacred knowledge on how these things occur. This run was the worst thing that could happen to the Panthers, despite popular belief. Good game and series Knights fans ❤️❤️❤️
What we've learned about the NHL playoffs is that the best murderous teams make the final. Florida and Vegas have both crossed the line, they both play like killers. Vegas has more killers, bigger killers, and better goaltending. Florida has finally run into a team that can't be pushed around and won't play Florida's game.

Vegas is so much stronger on the puck than Florida. It's like men playing against boys.
The officiating has not been anywhere close to what the finals would require. Weak calls both ways and absolutely no idea what to do with brawls. I hope the head hit on Gudas brings a suspension atleast. Also would be great to see other referees on the ice.
I feel so much better about the Stars now.

Some real bad blood between teams has developed in this series. Not surprising in the Cup final. Vegas fans have some goofy outfits. Definitely in Vegas when Elvis shows up.

I don't have cable so I only get to see the sportsnet highlights here on youtub but I can tell the break was to long for Florida. They are not playing their game, collapsing and bunching up far to much in their zone with alot of puck watching and not zone coverage. If they lose the next game it's from a must see series to a eeh series.
This Vegas team is unreal, Hill is kicking butt between the pipes and its paying off. Only 2 more games to win the Stanley Cup. I honestly don't see Florida winning 4 games in a row against a team like Vegas.

Feel bad for Bobrovsky but seems like Vegas figured out the panthers so kudos to them. Kinda crazy Panthers were on a 9 game win streak coming in to this I understand why so many thought they would win this but Vegas offense is so good. Game 3 is a must win will be interesting to see if Panthers go with Lyon.
A few random observations. Four lines against three….a problem for Florida, how do you match up? Goudas was a marked man! Tkachuk isn't anywhere near as good as his Dad. Barbashev had only about 11 minutes ice time, but seemed like he was everywhere (how could the Blues give up on him?) Eichel can't score but he is playing great, winning hockey on both ends! Great, great, GREAT job by Jack! The setup to Marchessault was perfect. Barkov played great, but so far he's on his own. Bobrovsky will be better at home. I never liked Cassidy, but he's changing my mind. If Vegas had Reaves this series would be over.
Watching these games as a Stars fan is both reassuring and very funny. Feels like the Panthers looked at the Petro slash on Draisaitl, decided that's the standard they'd play to, and then never watched a Vegas game after that.
I hope they adjust and take the next one to really make this a series.
i was at the game. The crowd was nuts, even by VGK standards which is normally "nuts". I thought Florida gooned it up and lost their cool. Tkachuk is blowing it for Florida, which makes me happy.
Vegas looks bigger, just laughing cant get punked. The meows have no D making Bob look bad. Im sure Quicky gave Hill some pointers, blocker chop. Refs protecting Matt tchoke frome being suspended for his own good with the 10s.

I will admit I picked Florida to win the series in 6 at the start, and now I feel like a complete fool. Vegas is playing tremendous hockey in all areas right now, and Florida doesn’t have an answer for it. It seems like Florida has either forgotten how to defend, or they think they don’t need to since Bobrovsky is apparently obligated to steal them every game? Not. Florida thought they could come in and beat VGK with their agitation alone, they’re quickly learning that VGK will not get easily rattled by their antics.
