Dryden Hunt is a nice kid who works hard. But the experiment his over. Kakko looked better w Bread and Stromer. Wish we had Buchnevich on the first line. But gotta try Laffy there again or get a big time winger to play w Mika and Krieds. Other teams have monster lines why can’t we? Look at Boston for years. Look at Winnipeg, Wheeler,Connor, Scheifle.

Ranger fan for 60 years, my humble assessment. Gallant-Money. Drury- very good except Buchnie move. Bread- started slow but back to elite player. Kreids- Best ever been hope it continues. Stromer- Obviously Bread helps but productive and a leader. Mika- Unrecognizable, this is not Mika. Seems in a daze. He was arguably the best player in hockey the last 2 years. Chytil- He’s not a player. Kakko- Disappointment but playing better. Laffy- Another disappointment, only the Rangers. Reeves- TG for him. Shoulda done it 2 years ago. Goodrow- Lotta heart. Rooney- Surprised. Hunt- Lotta hustle 4th liner. Blais- Loved him, huge loss. Fox- We’d be in last place without him. Teams best player. Lindgren- not a 2 defenseman but a 3-4, solid. Trouba- He’s the man, finally earning his contract. Miller- Should be Norris level one day. Covers more ice than anyone on the team. Just wish he would take the body more. He’s too nice always stick checking, you’re 6’5”! Nemeth- Started slow but playing better. Lundquist- Nice kid but not ready. Hijek would be better. Shesterkin- Much better than I thought. Georgie- Thought he was done but looks better. Looking forward to Cuylle, Othmann, Schneider and Robertson. There are a limited number of positions open on a hockey team. You can’t play everybody. We should have gotten Jack Eichel. Chytil, Lundquist, Jones and a first couldn’t have gotten him? Only if they wouldn’t trade him in the East.
