    Meanwhile don’t touch a Vegas player you’ll get a 10 minutes.

Commentators said he “made a great check” on his way to get an extra stick from the trainer. I miss Goldie and Randy.

Guys, this cup is bought and paid for already. No need to stress out about it.

  4. Clamgravy

FYI – the TV announcers don’t call penalties… Lol

  5. TheCatEmpire2

Tough to tell interference from a pic. Most of it has to do with foot movement and lines of skating. Any clip?

  6. TheGardiner

Must really suck to be on the other end of questionable and biased officiating…

This is a terrible screen grab. Pucks move fast. The puck was there less than a second before the hit

Can’t do anything about it. Stop complaining and hope the script is rewritten.

Pretty clear Gary wants his Knights to finally win seeing how this series has been called so far

I can’t find the full clip but I’d like to add on here as to what defines an « interference call ». Removed sections referring to Goalie Interference.

    * (a) A minor penalty shall be assessed for interference. This includes the following actions which shall be penalized under this rule:
    (1) Providing a protective screen and limiting the opportunity for an opposing player to apply pressure to a teammate in possession or control of the puck.
    (2) Making no attempt to play the puck while facing-off and instead plays the body of the opponent.
    (3) An attacking player who no longer has possession or control of the puck initiates contact with the defending player in an effort to obstruct their ability to play the puck or an opponent.
    (4) A defending player who changes their skating lane or foot speed in an effort to play the body of an opponent who is no longer in control of the puck.
    (5) Deliberately knocking the stick out of an opponent’s hand.

As noted, the puck does not appear in said photo. If I remember correctly, said Defensemen had made a shot attempt. Now, I’m not a league « official » (Zebs have been AWFUL every series so far I must note), but I’ve been around the game nearly 2 decades and have my stripes. We’re taught a « 3 second rule ». You have 3 seconds to make contact with the puck carrier (defensemen here), after 3 seconds it’s interference.

Well I can tell you that Stone does NOT make a play for the puck, as he didn’t have a stick. He’s making a play trying to separate the puck carrier (defensemen) and puck. Again, can’t tell/remember if it was within the 3 seconds.

I have no sides here (Devils Fan), but this is such a close call in real time to make. I know if I’m in a position to make the call, and looking back I’d probably pocket my whistle, play it out. It’s unfortunate that it lead to a goal as I think an argument can be made for both sides here.

Also to add, Fuck Vegas. Soft as Charmin team Uncle Gary can’t stop salivating over. Surprised he hasn’t moved them to Arizona next. Go Cats 🐾

I had to go back and rewatch it too, at the time cause I thought the same thing, but he had the puck just before and stone finished the check. It just stung more because of the scoring after
